JIM:

If we don't leave here right now,
we're not going to make it. I'm going,
if you want to stay, good luck.

BRUCE:

I doubt if one person can get out of
here by himself. I think it will take
all of us, together, to get up that
cliff, but let's get some supplies first,
real supplies, not candy bars, and for
heaven's sake, leave that damned gun here.

CUT TO:

EXTERIOR....LEDGE AT MOUTH OF ANOTHER CAVE...DAYLIGHT

Bruce, Jim and Carol emerge over the lip of the cliff
with their nap sacks in front of the Wizard. Jim
is still carrying his gun.

WIZARD:

Welcome to the temple of light and darkness.

A small tape recorder at the Wizard's feet emits the
ferocious roar they have been listening to for the
last three days.

JIM:

You mean this is what I've been scared
to death of for the last three days?

WIZARD:

Yes. Life is often like that. Frequently
we are frightened beyond all reason by
things which amount to nothing, but are
not disturbed by things which we really
should worry about.

CAROL:

Like drugs?

WIZARD:

Exactly like drugs. We should be afraid
of them, but we also should not.
